What is your name?

Hi, my name is Eric.

Describe yourself.

I enjoy being part of nature by bushwalking.

After 15km bushwalking with a 10kg backpack, the last thing I want is full sun protection without my shirt licking my skin. Solbari has granted my wish! Solbari is my new-born skin, feels natural and breathes like a breeze. Time is ripe to upgrade my other bushwalking gears with Solbari.

What is your attitude towards sun protection today?

I am more and more concerned about sun protection today after seeing my middle-aged friend suffering from skin cancer. The skin cancer stories did not come home until it became a reality for my good friend. Both of us misunderstood that getting the full body covered is equivalent to sun protection. We focused on the price tag, not bothering to investigate good quality clothing which is price-worthy. We are ignorant of UVA and UVB rays until the doctor told my friend in the diagnosis.

What would you tell your 16-year-old self about sun protection?

I used to be the immortal sun-chasing sixteen-year old boy who sneered at sun protection. Tanned skin is the fashion and my obsession. Public media did not educate me well about skin protection. I am deaf to those boring messages which were faraway fairyland. After all, it is all about perception and presentation of healthy education.

With today's digital technology, I would use all kinds of media, be it cartoons, comic books, manga, animation, colourful vibrant photos to capture the attention and ingrain the message to my 16-year-old self. With the clothing technology, I would show the young aged models wearing trendy styles with a variety of colours to my 16-year-old self, to entice him to buy these quality sun-protection clothing.

For my 16-year-old self who always forget to bring things such as the sunblock, the skin-like sun-protective clothing comes to the rescue. Solbari light-weight clothing will make my 16-year-old self moving agilely.
